East Wing Regeneration, London
In March 2015 the Heritage Lottery Fund awarded £18.8million of funding towards the East Wing restoration project, which focusses on restoring the Palace’s most significant historic spaces to their former glory and securing the Palace‘s future as one of London’s leading heritage destinations.
Under the plans, the Victorian Theatre, together with the glazed East Court was repaired and refurbished.
Rapid Metal Deck worked well with Willmott Dixon to plan, design, supply and install the East Wing deck to replace the floors that needed pinning and placed our deck over the supports that were left over and new infills.
All part of the exceptional works carried out by Willmott Dixon who were up against some very challenging tasks to pull this over the line.
